Hi everyone! Here is a picture of me with my adopted daughter in Gulu, Uganda. I have been an University English Professor for the past 15 years in San Antonio, but my greatest passion is the vocational training school I started in northern Uganda for adults about one year ago. These people have been living in war-torn conditions for the past 20+ years and I want to help them learn a vocation and live prosperous lives. This young gal, Stella, captured my heart about two years ago. She was an orphan before I met her. She is now in a wonderful boarding school in Kampala, Uganda. I am trying to make arrangments to bring her to America; however, that is not an easy task.
I live in San Antonio, TX with my husband of 31 years. We have two children; Kristy and Bryan. Kristy just graduated from college (art teacher) and Bryan is a freshman at the University of Tulsa. He is on the tennis team and is majoring in Energy Management.
I cannot wait to come for the reunion. Any excuse to see Katy is a good one!!!!!!!
